University Information Technology (UIT) and Finance are currently working on a project to bring an on-line requisitioning system with automated signature authorization to Tufts.
Paper-based requisitions are prone to error, rework and delays and are but one of several processes used in the purchase of goods and services at the university. Automating requisitions provides the opportunity to consolidate and simplify several purchasing processes. For example, extending “traditional” requisition requirements slightly can enable the processing of service requisitions, CEAs and consultant orders through one common entry screen.
This project is all about you, the requisitioners. It’s very important that we hear what you have to say so we can develop a high performing system that is easy-to-use and easy-to-access, and most importantly meets your ordering needs.
If you have any questions or suggestions about this project, send us feedback at finance-iti@elist.tufts.edu.
